What’s Happening? Bay Area Winter 2008 Edition
January 15, 2008 by Mario
I’m new to this whole blogging thing, and more often than not I get my news from other sources and consolidate it for the rest of you. One of these sources is William Brand, at What’s On Tap. William put together a great list of events for the Bay Area for the upcoming months. Take a look.
What’s On Tap - A calendar of upcoming Bay Area beer events
Of course it would be nice to be able to attend all of these events, but unfortunately that’s not possible. Hopefully I’ll be down in Hayward for the Double IPA festival at the Bistro on February 9th. The other events that really pique my interest are the dinner at Bay Gourmet on January 25th and the Anderson Valley 20th Anniversary. I’m glad to hear they will be bottling the beer. You can count on me buying, drinking, and writing about anything that comes out of Booneville. And if you haven’t experienced it yet, make it to Toronado on the 16th of February. I think William sums it up perfectly.
And I don’t feel like I need to say this, but should anyways. When drinking large portions of Double IPA, Barleywine or just beer in general, please make sure to have a sober driver.
