Did you know that the first Saturday in May is National Homebrew Day? The Brewer’s Association coordinates an event called the Big Brew. Basically, it is a day to introduce the hobby of homebrewing to all of your non-brewing friends. Keep reading for more details and find a way to participate in the Big Brew 2008.
All the information you need can be found at the Brewer’s Association’s Big Brew homepage. They provide a schedule of events, Big Brew recipes, and plenty of other resources for your Big Brew event.
So what am I doing for the Big Brew? Well, I’m being a bad homebrewer and not brewing. I did introduce my father-in-law to homebrewing with my most recent batch though, and I will be bottling said batch, so I am participating in homebrewing activities, just not brewing.
Do you have plans? Share them with us. Looking for plans, the Brewer’s Association has a list of Big Brew locations around the world where you can participate.
