Ding dong the #*&%( is gone!!!

I don't like airing my dirty laundry, but Pyramid was a horrible company. They purchased Portland Brewing Company a few years ago and changed the yeast in the Honeybeer, it never tasted the same. Why? To cut costs. Why did they make most of their business decisions? To cut costs.

Anecdotal evidence indicated that Corona and Budweiser (not Budvar) are (were, I hope?) the beers of choice of the management at the Berkeley Pyramid Brewery

My grievances go further, but let me say that if we gain Magic Hat beer distribution on the West Coast (I've tried a few of their beers when on the East Coast) and lose Pyramid's psychotic beer-hating management, the world will be a better place.

Well Mario, hopefully you'll get a better shot at seeing Magic Hat (and their fortune-like bottle caps) on store shelves out there. They have a decent distribution network out at least down to the DC area, and #9 can be found in places like World Market and Giant. Haven't seen some of their other selections like Circus Boy (their Hefe) or their seasonals outside of the big liquor stores like Total Wine, however. I'm hoping this means we get some Pyramid products out this way as well.
