Mario,

You're wrong. This beer is good. I do like wine, but I like this more than wine; its wine-beer hybrid. smoothness of a white wine, yummy maltiness of beer, good bitterness at the back-end and good, well balanced experience throughout.

Nice piece. I couldn't agree with you more and I've always felt the same way. What could possibly be snobby about just drinking a beer?

Not wrong...okay maybe a little. Your comparison to a dessert wine was more on target than to a chard. Sorry you didn't like it.

Mario... I had a version of the beer aged in a Bourbon barrel, a 2006 and I got it a few months ago, that was really good. Perhaps a bit heavy on the bourbon, but nice.

yeah, I used to be a big Full Sail fan. But they have been drowned out by some of our own local craft beers, haven't they. I do know they have some special beers, but they never make it to the Bay Area.

I'll be honest Sweetwater 420 has a cooler name then they have beers. Which is unfortunate. I will stand by the blue though i enjoy drinking it and I agree the IPA is tasty as well. I actually had the Brown and Pale for the first time in months before i shipped those to you and they still did not do much for me. They have some other seasonals that come out that are decent. One called a road trip i enjoyed. They also have a white ale called a Hummer which i was very disapointed in. I tend to like the Wheat ales a lot and the Hummer was a major disapointment.

glad the package made it to you in one piece and you at least got to try some different brews!
